I used to have a joke with some friends about finding the perfect church. "If you find the perfect church, don't join it because it won't be perfect any longer!" ha!
The more I read the Bible, the more I am encouraged by God's plan for each of us. Inperfection is the standard and not the exception! God managed to work his will throughout history via ordinary, imperfect people. That fact doesn't give us an excuse to be imperfect. We should always strive to be Christ-like. It means that when the inevitable happens, God is there to catch us in his loving arms and carry us to our future in him. Yes, there will be consequences for our actions. Praise God that he can use our actions and imperfections regardless. Let us server God as best we can. That life is the closest thing we have to heaven on earth!
Lord, thank you for using these imperfect beings to bring forth your pefect kingdom on earth. Please help us. Please have mercy on us!

Garmin Vivofit (with heartrate monitor)
The fitness device I have been waiting for is finally available! It should attive at my home on April 9. It is the Garmin Vivofit. I bought the model with the heartrate monitor. Here some of the features:

The basic model (which does most of this stuff) for $129. The bundle that includes the heartrate monitor runs $169. There is also a Garmin Connect online community that you can interact with to stay motivated! I looked at a lot of fitness devices. This is the best one I have seen so far. I will let you know how it works. AND it comes in a lot of colors! Wooohoooo! hahahaha
