Our Daily Bread
I am not a parent, so I don't think the devotional applies to my life. I had a brief thought that this might apply to speaking out to help correct someone, like a Christian brother who is straying, but that thought went away quickly like I was trying to rationalize something.
For folks that are parents or plan to be parents, disciplining your child (children) is not only your responsibility to them, but also to God. Pray about discipline. Practice being a even-handed, loving parent who can discipline their child (children) appropriately. Best wishes!
Lord, I know I will never be a parent, but I know you want me to pray for those who are (or will be). It is not an easy road!
Movie Monday
I didn't take time to watch a movie this week. Heavy sigh! I wanted to see the new Resident Evil movie because I like the consistent story line and special effects. Oh well. Maybe this week. Not much else came out last Friday except for Finding Nemo 3D. Seriously? Oh well.
