Each new day

Our Daily Bread
OK, I don't want to hear a "Oh, no he did-unt!" from anyone when I quote a Broadway musical.  Yes, I am!  I thought of the lyrics to A Brand New Day when I read the devotional this morning.  Check out the lyrics here.  Is it OK if I apply a Christian overtone to those lyrics?  Please?

The point of the devotional is that we have a choice each new day, if we are fortunate enough to see a new day!  Here are the things we have the freedom to choose:
Today God gives you a new opportunity to praise Him. Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Today God provides for you and wants your trust. “Give us day by day our daily bread” (Luke 11:3).

Today God wants to speak to you through His Word. The believers at Berea “searched the Scriptures daily” (Acts 17:11).

Today God desires to renew your inner person. “The inward man is being renewed day by day” (2 Cor. 4:16).

It is A Brand New Day, my friends.  What will we choose?

Lord, please help us choose you in each new day!
