The beginning

Our Daily Bread
In our culture, we expect to be captivated by the beginning of books, movies, shows, etc.  A common comment might be "it started slow, but I got into it" or "it grabbed my attention from the first page".  We want to be pulled into the story or action as soon as possible.

We have that option with God whenever we ask for it!  The beginning of wisdom is the humbly seeking it from God.  He will pull you in from the start.  The Holy Spirit will open your eyes to things you never realized before.  You will not become immediately all wise and knowing, but you will realize more than ever before.  Keeping perspective is the most important part of that journey.  God is all knowing and wise.  He will share with us what we can handle if we are open to it!  Praise God!

Lord, we know that knowing you is the beginning of wisdom. Please help us humbly seek it from you alone.

Apple announced hardware updates to their iMac computers

I am hoping for an Apple new conference in early October to announce new iPads.  We will see!  I would like an iPad Mini with Retina display under my tree for Christmas!  ha!
