L-I-L-O

Our Daily Bread
There is an unofficial axiom, GIGO, which means "garbage in, garbage out".  It means that you if you poor quality materials, then the result will usually be a product of poor quality!  Yikes!

While reading the devotional, I thought of LILO, which means "love in, love out".  How cool is that?  The "love in" is the love of God that he offers all folks.  The "love out" is the natural extension of the love we receive.  We have to share it!  There is a challenge for Christians -- we should always show "Love out" even if we receive from others "Garbage in" or "Sarcasm in" or "Meanness in".  The last two letters should always be "LO"!

Lord, thank you for giving us more love than we could ever show to others.  Please help us do the best we can.

Wellness Wednesday
We can all lose our sense of focus and direction at different times in our lives even if we are doing our best to stay close to God.  I found this secular article that I thought was helpful to me.  Click here to read the full article.

5 Essential Questions to Lead You to Your Calling

What am I here to learn?
What am I here to teach?
What am I here to overcome?
What am I here to complete?
What am I here to express?

How about you?

****************************************
I pray the weight of my sins doth not crush me back to dust from where I came. I pray that God create in me a new, clean heart and place a right spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of my salvation. Praise the Almighty God from whom all blessings flow.
