We had a great time yesterday! What a great day!We took the trolley car down to the roundabout and then another to the Castro area to meet up with friends. While walking around we found Harvey Milk's office (see the movie) and also checked out some home prices. Home prices are deflated, but still outraeous compared to the Midwest! We looked at a few shops on Castro and got some tea at Starbucks.
We met friends for a few drinks before heading to lunch at The Cliff House which over looks Ocean Beach. Wow! We drove back downtown via the west side of the Golden Gate Bridge and a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Our friends took us on a great site seeing tour of the city starting with going across the Golden Gate Bridge, something the best friend always wanted to do, and ended the tour by driving down Lombard Street!
We plan to go back to some of these sites for picture taking moments. It was too crowded for us to stop for pictures due to the Labor Day crowd and being a beautiful day. Here are some of the pictures from the day:
