Wow! Our last full day in San Francisco was great! The weather was warm. The sun was shining.
We mailed some items back home, then went to Lori's for lunch. It is a cool 50's diner.
There was an unusual fog (not the normal fog!) pattern around Alcatraz and the GGB. My best friend got some great shots during our excapade to that area. He was relentless in getting the shots he wanted!
I rested for a short time after we got back from the photo trek, then headed out for the evening. I stopped by SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) before meeting my buddy for supper and drinks. We had supper at the Sausage Factory again. I had the tortellini with cream sauce, peas and prosciuto. I love that dish! Our server was cute and flirted with us old guys. hehehe I guess he was working the tip!
We went to a few bars around Castro before my buddy had to head home. He had to get up early this morning for a conference. I thought I would stop by the Lone Star (the main bear bar in SF) for one last drink. I met some nice guys from Europe and some others from SF. I made my way around to three of the other bars in the area before calling it a night. The funny thing was that a guy I saw at one of the bars on Castro (I gave him my free drink token) was also at the Powerhouse. We hung out for a while, which was very nice. I made my way back to the hotel very late. I tried to be quiet so I wouldn't wake up the best friend.
We are packing up our treasures this morning and getting ready for the shuttle to take us to the airport. It was a great week and a great vacation!
