On location: San Francisco - Day 6

I had a beautiful day to wander around San Francisco yesterday. It was a little crisp but the sun was out most of the day. After getting a late start, I finished my cafe mocha and headed out. The best friend met a friend for lunch so I used the "me" time for some shopping and hanging out. I helped a French couple find the Westfield Mall. I enjoyed an art fair on Union Square. I found a few bargains at Old Navy after I realized that I hadn't packed enough underwear for my trip. Yikes! I don't like to rinse out underwear. Ewwwww!
I wandered down to the Castro area again. There is a card shop that I wanted to visit. Let's just say the cards can be very naughty! I noticed a handsome guy also checking out cards and started talking to him. Apparently my ice breaker line of "Didn't I see you on one of these cards?" impressed him. We had a nice talk and hung out while killing some time. I walked around Castro looking at some of the other shops and revisiting some of my favorites. I avoided the cookies at Hot Cookie (see picture). Not sure why!
I called my buddy to make plans for last night. We met at Union Square for our big night out. We went to supper at the Stinking Rose, a garlic restaurant. This place makes Buca di Beppo taste like hospital food! Lots of garlic including garlic ice cream for dessert! After dinner we went to Club Fuzio to see Beach Blanket Babylon. The show is a San Francisco tradition! We laughed and laughed at the revue and the outrageous hats! We went back to the hotel to rest up for our last full day in the city. What a great week!
