Its nice to share

Our Daily Bread
I was reminded of another lesson I learned in Kindergarten: sharing.  I admit that I was a spoiled brat when I sent to Kindergarten in North Ridgeville, Ohio.  Oh my the stories my mother tells me!  I was particularly bad at sharing at first.  When I practiced and really understood the importance of sharing, I got to be pretty good at it.

Sharing the love of God is much the same way.  At first, we can be shy or unsure or reluctant to share the love of God with others.  With time and practice and understanding the importance of sharing God's love, we can get pretty good at it!  Practice with some friends, then start slow.  We can do this!

Lord, thank you for your love that is too amazing for us to keep to ourselves!

Wellness Wednesday
Travel Wellness
Finding balance when traveling for work or pleasure can be a challenge.  We have a tendency to eat too much and exercise too little!  Here are a few tips that I had reinforced over my long weekend trip:

  1. Have a good time, but do your best to keep some normalcy.  Completely changing your schedule or routine can make you feel out of sorts.  Try to keep some kind of normalcy if at all possible.
  2. Have a good time, but don't eat everything in sight.  I saw sooooo many treats when I was traveling over the weekend.  I settled on a dark chocolate hot fudge sundae at Ghiradelli's and a nice Mickey Mouse ice cream bar during the course of the day at Disneyland.  I ate fairly healthy at supper.
  3. Have a good time, but get some rest.  Yes, I ran pretty hard over the weekend with my activities.  I also allowed for rest time.  It worked out well!
  4. Have a good time, but don't forget to exercise!  Walk or something!
  5. Have a good time, but keep in touch with friends and family.

As you can tell, you should have a good time!  Following these suggestions can help you do this.

Number 24: Do what you say you are going to do

It is important to be reliable.  Experts agree that folks with purpose and integrity are happier in general.  If you say you are going to do something, then do it!
