Not too young

Our Daily Bread
I remember an experience when I was a sophomore in high school.  I was selected to be part of the University for Young Americans, a week long summer program held at Baldwin-Wallace College.  We stayed on campus for a week and attended meetings about community and political topics.  It was very interesting!  I was the youngest participate, which was also very interesting.  I was known for being the young guy that wasn't afraid to speak up!

Some things should carry over to the rest of your life!  The boldness we can have as a youth should carry over to adulthood, but with some adjustments for maturity!  Yes, I still speak out.  I wish I wouldn't do it sometimes.  I also wish I could be more loving while saying things.  What about you?

Lord, thank you for using us at any age to accomplish your will!

Foodie Friday
I had a nice meal with a friend at Downtown Disney in Anaheim on Monday.  We ate at a restaurant called Catal We had some tapas and appetizers.  The bread was also very good.  My buddy was very patient with me when we ordered stuff.  I love his taste in food.  He is a real foodie.  I promised him that I would try new stuff and I did.  The calamari dish was much better than any other calamai dish I had ever tasted.  The lamb chorizo sausage was delicious.  The funny part is that I ordered someting that sounded good, but it turned out to be pork rinds!  Fancy ones, but they were still pork rinds!

I encourage you to try new stuff.  You never know what you might like!

Let go, my friends!  God will be there to catch you and hold you in his loving arms!
