Read: Hebrews 13:17-19. The devotional referenced this passage today. It was an interesting follow up to the surrender article I wrote yesterday. Maybe God is trying to tell me (us) something?  :-). Let's think and pray about how the passage affects us. Praise God!

Psalm Sunday
A very short song of ascents today.  Can we honestly pray this prayer?

Psalm 131

A song of ascents. Of David.

My heart is not proud, Lord,
    my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
    or things too wonderful for me.
But I have calmed and quieted myself,
    I am like a weaned child with its mother;
    like a weaned child I am content.

Israel, put your hope in theLord
    both now and forevermore.
