I have some friends that love dressing up for the Renaissance Festival in southern Ohio each Fall. The outfit could be that of a pirate or barbarian or Renaissance-era character. How fun! The people watching is awesome at this event! ha!
Putting on the "armor of light" is so much different than a costume worn to the RenFest! First, the armor of light is meant to help us demonstrate the Light of the World to those around us. Second, the armor of light helps us fight off darkness that seeks to penetrate every part of our life. Lastly, the armor of light seeks to draw attention to our Lord instead of ourselves. What a blessing to have our Lord look at us in heaven, seeing our armor of light, and say Nice outfit! ;-)
Lord, please help us dress physically and spiritually each day. Please help us show your light each and every day!

Convertible laptops
With the increase in popularity in laptop and tablet computers, some computer makers figured out that offering a device that has the best features of a laptop (keyboard, monitor interface, etc) and a tablet (portability, touch screen, ease of use, cool apps, etc) would be popular with consumers. Please remember that some of these manufacturers tried the combo device several times in the past with less than impressive products and results in the marketplace. Most of them run Windows 8.1. I am surprised that Apple hasn't entered this market yet. I think the combination of the convertible features with the Apple AppStore would be awesome!
