Point of view

Our Daily Bread
There is a song called Jesus Bring the Rain.  It has a different perspective on trials and tribulations.  The song says "whatever it takes to praise you, Jesus bring the rain".  It also talks about how the song writer finds it incredible that people can question the things that God throws his way!

I loved the story of Fannie Crosby in the devotional today.  What a perspective on life!  Having the face of Jesus as the first face you see would be amazing!  She wrote over 9,000 hymns with her physical limitations.  Amazing!  How much should we "able-bodied" folks be able to do!  Let's challenge ourselves today!

Lord, we thank you for inspiration folks like Fannie Crosby.  Please help us have her attitude and perspective!

Foodie Friday
I tried a relatively new restaurant last night - Piadas.  We call it the Chipotle of Italian food restaurants!  The have some basic dishes, all pretty large portions, that you customize.  For example, the angel hair pasta dish can be ordered with Alfredo sauce, mild red sauce and spicy red sauce and your choice of meats (chicken, Italian sausage, meatballs, or steak).  The servers then add the veggies of your choice.  It is very tasty stuff!  I had the angel pasta with mild red sauce, Italian sauce, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.  I also had the angel hair pasta with Alfredo with chicken, mushrooms and extra Parmesan cheese.  MmmMMmMmmm!  Give it try!
