All in!

Our Daily Bread
The theme for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season was "All in!" Fans yelled the phrase and wore tshirts as the Cavs made it to the NBA Finals. They lost, but still thanked the fans and team for being All in all season.

We don't usually approach sin with the All in! attitude. It usually starts small. Grows. Something seemingly innocent grows into something much more risky and dangerous. Here is something a friend posted on Facebook that I try to read a few times per week:
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Let us all watch our thoughts so they don't continue their paths to actions and habits! May the Lord be with us!

Movie Monday
I watched a couple of movies on Netflix over the weekend. Didn't take the time to go to the theater.

The Penguins of Madagascar
Very cute time waster. The best parts were the silly references to movie starts "William, hurt them. Halle, bury them."  Very cute. The penguins were cute too, but the routine got old after a while. I give it one bear paw.

The Guest
This was a recommended for me movie. I was hesitant at first, but was quickly drawn in. Lots of plot twists, including the ending. It was worth the watch and pretty good. I give it two bear paws.

Freelancers
This movie was well done and had Robert DeNiro in it. Interesting flick, but I didn't like the "police gone bad" theme throughout the movie considering the current cultural conflicts with opinions about police. It was not a good image builder for them!  I give it one bear paw.
