Bread

Our Daily Bread
I bought a bread machine last Fall. I like using it on occasion to make some fresh home-make bread. I usually eat it all, but sometimes is spoils before I can eat the whole loaf.

The devotional talks about the scripture passage where Jesus says he is the Bread of Life. He who eats this bread will not hunger again.  So many of us seek the bread of this world and, like loaves that I don't finish, it spoils.  The bread that Jesus gives us? It does not spoil and we will never hunger again!

Movie Monday
Ant-Man
I waited a few weeks before I saw Ant-Man. Some friends loved it. At least one friend fell asleep during the movie.  I like it. It had action, a nice plot, and lots of cool effects.  Did like it as much as the Avengers movies?  I don't think so.  I also thought the acting ability of Michael Peña was wasted!

I give this one two bear paws. Seeing on the big screen would really bring out the special effects, but you could wait until it hits DVD or Netflix.

What a cute movie!!! I was not familiar with this character, but I usually like these kinds of movies. It was so cute!  Did I mention that? Lots of laughs and some touching moments.

I give this movie three bear paws.  No need to see it at the theater unless you want to see it sooner rather than later.
