Our Daily Bread
I spent a lot of time with "preacher boys" when I attended a small Christian college. They talked about lots and lots of different things about God and Jesus. Like any young person, they sought understanding and boundaries. One question was "if God can do anything, can he create an object that even he can't lift?" Oh, the silly wonderings of youth!
We can sometimes waste too much time (or as a techie would say "cycles") on questions such as the one above. We can also go to the other extreme and not think about God at all! Finding our rhythm of prayer, Bible study and participation in Christ's church is what we are meant to do!
Lord, please help us to always focus on you!
Technology Thursday
I read a review of the new smart watch that I purchased. It should arrive sometime this summer. The article doesn't have all the latest info, but it is very objective. I agree with the author's assessment. The Pebble Time Steel is not an Apple Watch! The Steel version is a nice, simple alternative if you don't want to spend $600 on an Apple Watch (the one I was looking at cost $599).
