Short-term memory

Our Daily Bread
I have a joke with some friends about memory.  While I usually have an accurate memory that is almost scary at times, I often forget simple things.  My joke is "I don't remember what I had for breakfast this morning, much less what happened a few weeks ago!"  ha!

Unfortunately, Christians can be that way when we think of God.  We often forget all the times he brought us through bad times and good times.  We often forget to be thankful through all things as God makes us whole and brings us closer to him.  We often forget how our lives could be if we lived according to our own selfish designs.

Remember, my friends.  Remember.

Lord, thank you for all your many gifts and for your grace.  Please help us all to be thankful each and every moment of each and every day!

Technology Thursday
Softbank-Sprint
The big story this week is the purchase of Sprint by Softbank.  Softbank is a Japanese company that wanted to make inroads in the US market.  Purchasing over 70% of Sprint will give them a large US presence and a larger global presence.  The cash influx will help Sprint build out its LTE network at a much faster pace, replacing its current WiMax and 3G environments.   We will see how this goes.

Apple announcement
Apple sent out media invitations for next Tuesday for another official announcement.  There is a lot of speculation about what will be announced, such as an iPad Mini and 13" MackBook Pro with Retina display.  They may also be updates to the iMac line as well.

Let go, my friends!  God will be there to catch you and hold you in his loving arms!
