Daddy sang bass

Our Daily Bread
There is an old Gospel song that talks about the different vocal parts sung by each family member. "Daddy sang bass, Momma sang tenor,..."  I have always been surprised that no one was listed as singing melody!  LOL

The next line is something about "me and little brother would join right in there" said in a way that implies "we may not really know what we are doing". It is so easy in this life to try to cover our tracks. To CYA as we say in the business world (cover your a$$).  To not be forthcoming with our mistakes. The devotional today talks about how God is there for us when we finally break down our pride and confess to him. Whether we have a new relationship with God or one that has spanned decades, we all need to do this! God be with us!

Wellness Wednesday
My life changed a lot last Monday with the new work from home job. Several friends have had a gig like this over the years so I am fortunate to get lots of good advice.
