Have you ever heard the term "my guilty pleasure"? My friends and family are usually referring to a TV show or food item that they like, but feel like they shouldn't! I am that way with Snyders BBQ chips and cream horns from Buehlers!
Most of us feel we are entitled to at least one guilty pleasure in our life. It helps us "relax". The devotional seems to disagree with that thought. It quotes I Peter 4:1-2 that encourages us to put aside all sinful passions and obey the will of God. Yes, it is not easy. We are human. We want to keep some things for ourselves whether it be food or a TV show or porn or whatever fleeting pleasure that can interrupt our communication with God.
I know I suck at this. Let's pray for each other to put aside the fleeting pleasures that distract us from serving God.
Lord, thank you for your love and guidance. We ask for wisdom and focus on your will and the eternal implications of our actions!

Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung announced their next generation iPhone killer in the Galaxy S4 last week. I didn't see any amazing new features. They offered a few new things for the iPhone to catch up to and some Android features to catch up to the iPhone iOS. Check it out. It might be the new phone for you!
